I was shopping in the local supermarket today, and one of the employees stopped me and told me he'd never seen hair as long as mine before.
I had it in a ponytail with two bands holding it together at the head to keep it from getting tangles there, which are harder to comb out.
It does seem to be longer than it's ever been before, and it's getting longer all the time.
Works for me.
